2021 Verdun Park Wines H&L Shiraz

2021 H&L Shiraz is a playful but seriously beautiful Adelaide Hills wine. Aged for three years in French Oak barriques, this small parcel of exceptional fruit has become a delicious example of Adelaide Hills shiraz. Dark red berries with spicy white pepper notes, typical of a cool climate shiraz, finishing with fine savoury tannins.

This vintage of H&L Shiraz is particularly special, as it is our last vintage of shiraz from the very first vines we hand planted in 1997 at Verdun. 

The name H&L comes from our twins, Lily and Henry and the cute picture was drawn by their sister Ruby, when she was 5 years old.
